About Get Naked

During the monsoon months, we imagined a different format that’s somewhere between a cabaret, an open mic night, a show. The desire was to provide a free space to visual artists to share a work, to try something new or to show an idea. The name intends to suggest a space of confidence, a space where the artist feels no judgment, as well as our desire to share practices and grow together. We believe that the studio space should not be a place of struggle but a place of experimentations and discoveries. The first series of Get Naked was initiated by one of our artists in residence, Violeta Lisboa, and Get Naked has now become a part of our repertoire.
